Chili
Ingredients
1 Red Pepper chopped
1 Sweet Onion chopped
2 Stalks Celery chopped
3 Cloves Garlic minced
2 lbs. Ground Beef
2 Jars Pasta Sauce (I like the Aldi Simply Nature Tomato Basil Sauce)
1 Can Chili Beans
1 15 oz Can Diced Tomatoes
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Dried Oregano
1 tsp Sea Salt
¼ tsp Black Pepper
Dash Red Pepper Flakes
Directions
Sauté red pepper, onion, celery, and garlic in large pot over medium high heat.
Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink.
Add sauce, beans (undrained), tomatoes, and all spices. Mix thoroughly.
Simmer on low for At least 20 minutes.
Serve with a dollop of plain Greek yogurt, shredded cheddar cheese, and green onions if desired.
