Ingredients
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 Large Onion diced
1 Red Pepper diced
4 Cloves Garlic minced
6 Medium Mushrooms diced
1 24 oz Jar Spaghetti Sauce (We prefer Aldi Organic Tomato Basil Sauce)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Basil
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Sea Salt
16 oz Dry Pasta (Elbow, Ziti, Rotini, Fusilli, or Cavatappi are good options)
Shredded Parmesan Cheese for serving
Directions
Prepare pasta according to package.
Heat oil in large sauce pan over medium heat and sauté onion, pepper, and mushrooms for about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook 2 minutes more.
Add ground beef and brown until no longer pink.
Stir in spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, oregano, and salt. Mix thoroughly and thn simmer on low for at least 15 minutes.
Once pasta is cooked, drain and mix thoroughly into sauce.
Spoon into bowls and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Serve with warm, crusty sourdough bread and enjoy!
