Ingredients
3 lb. Pork Butt or Shoulder
2 tsp Cumin
2 tsp Cinnamon
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Paprika
2 tsp Sea Salt
½ tsp Black Pepper
2-3 Cinnamon Sticks
4 Cups Chicken Broth
2 Cups Uncooked Jasmine or Basmati Rice
Optional Toppings:
Arugula
Sliced Cucumbers
Sliced Radishes
Shredded Purple Cabbage
Sauerkraut
Kimchi
Crumbled Feta
Hummus
Avocado
Pickled Red Onions
Shredded Carrots
Cilantro
Crunchy Asian Noodles

Directions
In a small bowl, combine the cumin, cinnamon, garlic, paprika, sea salt, and black pepper.
Rub spice mixture onto pork, covering it entirely. Place pork into crockpot and add chicken broth and cinnamon sticks. Cover and cook on high for 6 hours (low for at least 8 hours).
In the last 30 minutes of cook time, cook rice according to package directions and prepare the toppings.
This is where you can get creative, use what you have available, and try new things. Some of our favorite toppings are listed above. We also like to add turmeric to our rice. Just mix in a teaspoon or so.
Remove pork from the crockpot and shred.
Place a scoop of rice into the bottom of a bowl, add a scoop of shredded pork and finish with your favorite toppings. Serve with warm naan and enjoy!
