Ingredients
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 lbs. Beef sirloin thinly sliced
2 Red Onions sliced
1 Large Red Bell Pepper sliced
4 Cloves Garlic minced
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Fajita Seasoning see recipe below
8 Tortillas
Fajita Seasoning:
2 Tbsp Chili Powder
2 Tbsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Dried Oregano
2 tsp Onion Powder
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Sea Salt
¼ tsp Ground Cayenne Pepper
Optional Toppings:
Plain Greek Yogurt, Sliced Avocado, Fresh Cilantro, Lime Wedges, and Hot Sauce
Directions
Marinate sliced steak in olive oil and fajita seasoning for at least 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and peppers to skillet. Sauté for 10 minutes. Add garlic and continue cooking for 2 minutes more. Remove from pan and set aside. Cover with foil to keep warm.
In the same pan, add steak and cook for only a few short minutes to brown. Remove from pan.
Warm tortillas if desired. Serve steak, topped with peppers and onions on tortillas with preferred toppings.
